Timmy Regisford kicks off WMC at the The Shelborne Resort in March. 

Shine and The Shelborne Beach Resort have announced their parties for March 2011 in Miami. Instead of sticking with one week (either Winter Music Conference or Ultra week) they've opted to take advantage of the crowd both times! That's right people, the same venue that's used to bringing you quality events each and every Winter Music Conference, is back again but ready to deliver double the events.

If you've visited the Shelborne during Winter Music Conference, then you know how these parties get. Not only do these parties fill up with dancing parties from sunrise to sunset, but they book some of the best talent that electronic music has to offer in Miami in the month of March. This year they're back with their signature parties and it all starts with everyone's favorite, the Shelter NYC Opening Party!

You'll definitely be seeing familiar faces in the crowd in the booth this year and it all starts with an infamous US DJ-producer. World-renowned DJ Timmy Regisword is covering the first event on March 9th. Known for serving up the kind of traditional house you'd get back in the old-Chicago house era, Regisford has a playing style that's like none other. He's likely to take you on a musical journey from start to finish, so don't expect that first track to blow the roof off the venue.

The Dogwood - Austin

The Dogwood is an Austin "homegrown" concept with a small touch of southern hospitality. Being from the south, as well as the Dogwood being our grandmother's favorite tree, we figured the iconic tree would be a perfect logo to showcase our "outdoor entertaining" concept throughout the bar. Natural stones and woods run throughout the spacious 3500 square foot interior and brings you through floor to ceiling walk-throughs into a gorgeous 3500 square foot patio. The Dogwood is a chance for us to "give back" just a bit by showcasing one of Austin's first organic drink menu as well as featuring an entire menu of your favorite local brews. Check out the Tru Liquor bio to see how you have helped plant a tree for every drink you buy. 90% of our materials used for construction was recycled material from the existing buildings demo phase as well. We don't claim to be "green" but every little bit helps. There are several cool features of The Dogwood that separates us from the average bar. We have a huge stage ready for live entertainment or presentations, as well as state of the art audio and visual equipment pre wired for any event. Not to mention, our 11 flat screens and 108" high definition projector makes The Dogwood a perfect place for game day as well as any and all sporting events. I highly recommend an ice cold Deep Eddy sweet tea vodka poured straight from the ice tap while kicked back on the patio as well. Now this is what we call heavy drinking!
Famous Las Vegas luxury nightclub XS recently unveiled the world’s largest champagne bottle. The “Midas,” named after the king of Greek mythology who turned everything he touched into gold, is a massive 30-liter vessel and weights exactly 100 pounds. The champagne, by elite wine brand Armand de Brignac, is the number one rated prestige cuvee that’s entirely produced by hand. It’s no wonder that many celebrities, such as Jay-Z, Alex Rodriguez, and Rihanna, prefer this sparkling French wine over others.
The Midas bottle of Armand de Brignac was sold at XS for $100,000 by an anonymous patron who was attending the official UFC 125 after-party. Two men were required to carry the famous Midas to the mysterious buyer's table!
Each metallic bottle of Armand de Brignac bears two Ace of Spades insignias, as well as four hand-applied pewter labels. The champagne is also housed in a glossy black wooden case, which also features the sparkler’s royal crest. And if that’s not enough, each box is lined in velvet and fitted with an engraved nameplate.
