Jay-Z will be performing at Austin City Limits on March 12th as part of American’s Express’s Sync Show.
The event will showcase AMEX’s new Twitter experience where its card
members can tweet using special offer hashtags to load offers directly
to their Card and get discounts at the stores that they shop. During the live-stream, @AmericanExpress will also unlock additional
exclusive offers redeemable once Cardmembers sync. Lastly, leading up
to and during the concert, JAY Z fans can tweet song requests and un-lock a digital concert poster.
The Amex Sync Show will be broadcast live at YouTube.com/AmericanExpress and also be available on the VEVO mobile. A special rebroadcast will be available on-demand from March 13th to March 19th at www.Twitter.com/americanexpress, www.YouTube.com/AmericanExpress and on Xbox LIVE.
In Austin, SXSW Interactive badge holders that are American Express Cardmembers can sync their cards with their Twitter accounts for a chance to gain access to the “Amex Sync Show Presenting JAY Z” live for themselves plus one guest that is also a SXSW registrant. The concert will also be live-streamed from a digital billboard on the corner of 6th Street and Red River in Austin.
Ticket pickup will occur at the American Express Booth at the Austin Convention Center on Saturday, March 10, at 7:00 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis.
