"Thomas Gold is always a busy man, this year in Miami will be no exception. He has quite a week lined up, including parties with all his Swedish buddies throughout the week. He kicks things off with Axwell at Amnesia on Wednesday the 21st, before joining SHM at Masquerade Motel (sold out) and Dirty South at Mansion on Friday the 23rd. Thomas gets his own party at Mynt Lounge on Saturday the 24th, and will play alongside Axwell at Surfcomber on Sunday.

The much anticipated track "Molly" by Miami resident Cedric Gervais is set to be released along with the video on April 28th at LIV Miami. Cedric has been holding on to this song for over 6 months now and has built up a movie-release like hype. Check the trailer here. We at MyBarHeaven (as well as several thousand other people) have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. This is the first full release of the song (tagged of course) but nonetheless it gives you a look into what to expect from Cedric next month and in years to come. This summer, America’s #1 DJ Kaskade embarks on the biggest tour of his career with more than 50 dates across North America, including stops at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival and more. The “Freaks Of Nature” tour lands at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, presented by Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub, Saturday, May 26. Kaskade will continue his popular monthly residency at Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub throughout the rest of the summer tour.
The Chelsea, The Cosmopolitan’s state-of-the-art entertainment venue, has hosted some of Las Vegas’ hottest shows. From a star-studded grand opening featuring Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Martin and John Mayer to British songstress Adele and music producer Deadmau5’ first-ever full live show on The Strip.
The New York Times recently called Kaskade the “new face of electronic dance music,” his own live show being a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of a massive LED screen that blares images synched with the music, while strobe lights scan the crowd. Playing tracks from his catalogue of more than seven albums, including his most recent release Fire & Ice from Ultra Music, Kaskade will bring a new show like none other with very special performances and set ups planned throughout the tour.
“It’s the most ambitious tour I’ve ever done,” said Kaskade. “Just the number of cities and the actual stage set I’m taking on the road in itself is an unprecedented feat for me. People who’ve seen me before will never have seen this and for those who have yet to see me, it’ll only enhance the experience that much more.”
Recently, fans have been taking to the third single and corresponding music videos from Kaskade’s smash hit album ‘Fire & Ice,’ one of the most anticipated cuts – the evocative and masterfully created “Room For Happiness” featuring none other than pop songstress Skylar Grey. More music videos and collaborations are slated for the upcoming months.
Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the electronic dance music (EDM) scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest ‘Fire & Ice,’ scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyonce, appeared at all the major summer music festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today. Fadil El Ghoul, born 2 April 1986 and commonly known by his stage name R3hab, is a Dutch DJ, remixer and house music producer. R3hab's singles and remixes are played by such producers as David Guetta, Afrojack, Tiësto and Swedish House Mafia. Alongside Afrojack, he is considered as being the proponent of European "dutchstep" fusion genre initially based on dubstep.
R3hab will be displaying his skills for the SXSW crowd in Austin.

This 19-year-old talent has been touted by his peers (read Tiësto, Skrillex and Deadmau5) as one of the nu-breed saviours of electronic music, and having only experienced the limelight for just a few months, his achievements paint the picture of a super bright future.
2011 saw Porter achieve what some do in an entire career. He provided solid tour support to Tiësto and Skrillex, as well as debut appearances at Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival and Electric Zoo that led to him entering DJ Mag’s Top 100 and the Billboard Top 21 Under 21 chart.
His EP "Spitfire", which crashed Beatport’s servers on release, smashed its way to the #1 position in the process and held fort for 2 weeks solid. He’s already remixed Lady Gaga and Avicii, and has a string of A-list artists knocking down his door.

Lil Wayne will invade SXSW as he has paired up with
Mountain Dew to launch the #DeWeezy campaign, a full out assault that
will include advertisements, a skate park being built in New Orleans and
multiple appearances for the cause. Details of the partnership are
supposed to be unveiled next week during SXSW, but a statement from Mountain Dew
explains a bit of how it came together.
"We are excited to partner Lil Wayne’s brand with a brand like Mountain Dew, a household name. Representatives from the Glu Agency approached us with the idea over a year ago, which was surprising to us because corporate America is often very conservative and Lil Wayne is a unique artist,” says Cortez Bryant, co-CEO of Blueprint Group. “However by showing interest in Lil Wayne, both Mountain Dew and the Glu Agency showed us they were forward thinking and valued the impact that Lil Wayne’s brand has had and will continue to have on global pop culture."

As you know, the MyBarHeaven crew scours the Internet for music news. We just recently came across several (credible) rumors that Hip-Hop legends Jay-Z and Eminem will be performing on March 17th at an undisclosed location during this year's SXSW festival in Austin, TX. This is all very exciting news but a rumor nonetheless. Last year, Jay-Z made a surprise appearance during Kanye West's set at SXSW 2011 so this Eminem/Jay-Z combo could very well become a reality. We will keep you posted on any news regarding the tentative performance so check back daily for more info.

On May 18th, Above & Beyond will return to Los Angeles, playing the landmark Shrine Auditorium during Part 2 of their 2012 North American Tour.
In 2010 Jono, Paavo & Tony sold out LA's Hollywood Palladium for their 350th radio show (TATW) celebrations, the biggest party on the Anjunabeats calendar. In 2011, they sold out two shows at the same venue in just 48 hours. This year they return to California to take on one of LA's biggest and most historical venues, bringing the full Group Therapy experience with them.
Centered around their critically acclaimed second artist album 'Group Therapy' ("the biggest artist album of the year" -Mixmag) - which features the hits “Sun & Moon” and “Thing Called Love”, Above & Beyond's show takes the DJ set up into the realm of concert theater with emotive visuals, live video messaging from the band, and a story-telling theme, creating a unique dance floor experience for Above & Beyond's legions of Los Angeles fans.
As described by Jono from Above & Beyond, “LA has always been an extremely special place for us where some of our most dedicated fans live. It’s one of our favorite places in the world to perform, and we can’t wait to bring Group Therapy back for 2012.”
